-हमारे दांतों में तीन परतें होती हैं। बाहरी दो परतें ठोस होती हैं और चबाने में मदद करती हैं, जबकि सबसे निचली परत नरम होती है। दाँत का सबसे अंदरूनी नरम हिस्सा दांत का पल्प होता है।पल्प मे नस होता है।संक्रमित दांतों की मरम्मत और उन्हें अधिक खराब होने से बचाने के लिए किया जाता है। रूट कैनाल ट्रीटमेंट की प्रक्रिया के दौरान, दांतों की जड़ से नर्व और संक्रमित पल्प को हटा दिया जाता है। इसके बाद दाँत की जड़ की सफाई करके उसे सील कर दिया जाता है।

अगर समय पर संक्रमण का उपचार नहीं किया जाता है तो उपचार के बिना, आपके दांत के आस-पास के ऊतक संक्रमित हो जाएंगे और जो बाद में दांत का फोड़ा बन सकते हैं।
