Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and to be updated ("Wefru", "we", "us") for the use of wefru.com and all related pages, business websites, digital cards, tools and services (the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community and Content Guidelines. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.

1. About the Platform

Wefru is an online platform and intermediary that lets businesses and individuals publish information and connect with each other. Wefru does not sell, buy, rent, employ or provide medical or other services listed by users, unless we clearly say so. Any deal is directly between the users involved.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.
  • If you use the Platform for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that business.
  • You must not use the Platform if we have suspended or removed your account earlier.

3. Your account

  • Give true, current and complete information, and keep it updated.
  • You may sign up with email (verified by OTP) or with Google sign-in.
  • Keep your password and OTPs secret. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
  • Tell us at once at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • One person or business must not create multiple accounts to mislead users or misuse free features.

4. Listing rules

  • List only a real business, product, service, job or item that you are entitled to offer.
  • Use correct business name, address, category, contact details and photos. Do not use another business's name, logo or photos.
  • Prices, offers and availability you show must be accurate and honest.
  • Do not list items or services that are illegal or restricted under Indian law.
  • We may edit the category, hide, or remove any listing that breaks these Terms or appears misleading.
  • A verification badge or trust indicator only shows that certain checks were completed. It is not a guarantee of the quality, conduct or legality of a business.

5. Prohibited content and conduct

You must not host, display, upload, publish, share or send anything that:

  • belongs to another person and you have no right to it;
  • is obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another person's privacy (including bodily privacy), insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, religion, caste or race, or promotes enmity or violence;
  • is harmful to children;
  • infringes any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right;
  • deceives or misleads about its origin, or knowingly spreads false or misleading information, including fake reviews, fake ratings and fake job offers;
  • impersonates another person or business;
  • threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with other countries or public order;
  • contains viruses or harmful code, or tries to hack, scrape, overload or disrupt the Platform;
  • promotes online gaming, betting or gambling that is not permitted by law, or any other illegal activity;
  • is spam, chain messages or unsolicited bulk promotion.

6. Intellectual property

The Wefru name, logo, design, software, templates and our own content belong to Wefru or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not copy, modify, sell or reuse them without our written permission, except as needed to use the Platform normally.

7. Licence to your content

You keep ownership of the content you publish. By publishing it on the Platform, you give Wefru a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to host, store, display, reproduce, format, translate and share it on the Platform, in search results, in Wefru's apps and in promotion of the Platform, for as long as it remains on the Platform and for a reasonable time after removal (for example in backups). You confirm that you have all rights needed to grant this licence.

8. Paid plans and payments

  • Current plans, features and prices are shown on our Packages page. Prices may change; the price at the time of your payment applies.
  • At present, payments are made by UPI or bank transfer. You upload the payment receipt and our team confirms it before the plan is activated.
  • Plans are activated only after the payment is confirmed. Taxes are charged as applicable.
  • Refunds and cancellations are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

9. Dashboard tools

Billing and GST invoices

The Billing tool is a record-keeping aid that helps you prepare and store invoices. It is not tax, accounting or legal advice. You are solely responsible for the correctness of your invoices, tax rates, GSTIN details and HSN/SAC codes, for filing returns and for complying with GST and other tax laws. Please check with a qualified professional where needed.

Leads

Leads and enquiries are passed to you as they are received from visitors. Wefru does not verify them and does not guarantee the quality, quantity, genuineness or conversion of any lead. You must use lead details only to respond to that enquiry and in line with our Privacy Policy and Messaging and Reminders Consent policy.

Reminders

Reminders are provided on a best-effort basis. At present they are sent by email. Wefru is not liable for any reminder that is missed, delayed or not delivered, including because of email, SMS or WhatsApp provider delays, network problems, spam filters or wrong contact details. Do not rely on reminders alone for legal, medical, financial or other critical deadlines.

Appointment booking

Appointment Booking is a scheduling tool. Wefru is not a party to the service between you and your customer or patient, and is not responsible for the service itself, its quality, its outcome, fees charged or any cancellation or no-show. Doctors and clinics remain fully responsible for medical care and for meeting medical, professional and data protection laws.

10. Third-party services and links

The Platform may use or link to third-party services, such as Google sign-in, maps, WhatsApp and payment apps. Their own terms apply to them, and Wefru is not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimer

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or secure. Information published by users is their responsibility. Please also read our Disclaimer.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Wefru, its directors, employees and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform, from any deal between users, or from content posted by users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform will not exceed the amount you paid to Wefru in the 3 months before the claim, or to be updated where you have paid nothing.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wefru, its directors, employees and partners from any claim, loss, penalty or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, your dealings with other users or customers, or your breach of these Terms or of any law.

14. Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Platform at any time and ask for account deletion through a support ticket or email.
  • We may remove content, limit features, suspend or close your account, with or without notice, if you break these Terms or the law, if we receive a valid complaint or legal order, or to protect users or the Platform. Where reasonable, we will tell you the reason and give you a chance to respond.
  • Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, liability, indemnity and governing law) survive termination.

15. Complaints

To report content or raise a complaint, follow our Grievance Redressal process.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any applicable consumer protection law, the courts at Meerut, Uttar Pradesh will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform. We encourage you to contact us first so that we can try to resolve the matter amicably.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the Platform after the change means you accept the updated Terms.
