How to set a follow-up date on a lead

A follow-up date helps you come back to a buyer at the right time.

Steps

1. Open /leads and click the lead.
2. Under Follow up on, pick a date and click Set date.
3. On that day, click Follow up today at the top of the Leads page.
4. Click Clear to remove the date.

Common mistakes

• Setting a date more than a year away. It is not allowed.
• Never checking Follow up today.
