Hobbies

Hoppy is an interesting pursuit. The word hoppy has been derived from hoppy horse which is a stick fitted with a wooden horse head which children ride for their amusement. We still talk of a man riding his hoppy. Si a hobby is an amusement and not our main business. What is a business to one man may be a hobby to another for example an actor may have interest in cricket an his hoppy and paid cricketer may go in for s ting as a recreation.

There are very many kinds of hobbies. Collecting postage stamps is a common hoppy in India. England not only with boys and girls but withen too. Some make collection of books on novels and various other topics. Some hobbies do not cost must while other such as collecting picture old books curiosities and antiquities are only for the rich.

Other hobbies take the go if games and sports. Many take up open air games like golf tennis cricket or football as their hobbies. While hunting or fishing or yachting are the favourite recreation of other 

Hobbies keep people active and happy. Therefore old or young one should have a hobby.
