70 of our planet is covered with water. However only about 3 of earth water is fresh. Fresh water is needed by humans ans plant  so we should control the pollution of water.  Addition of pollution into water bodies such as rivers or lakes is called water pollution.  Bathing animals  washing cloths and utensils in water bodies also lead to pollution.
