Safety tips for buying, selling and renting

Wefru does not handle payments for Sell / Rent / Donate items. You deal directly with the other person, so stay careful.
Steps
- Meet in a safe public place and check the item before paying.
- Do not pay an advance to someone you have not met.
- Never share an OTP, UPI PIN or bank password. Receiving money never needs your PIN.
- For rentals, agree on the deposit and return date in writing.
- Report a cheat by raising a ticket in the Abuse category with the listing name.
Common mistakes
- Trusting a QR code sent to "receive" money. Scanning a QR code usually sends money.
- Handing over an item before the payment reaches your account.
