Shri Abdul Pakir Jainulabdin Abdul Kalam .

In the Pilgrimage town of Rameshwaram in Tamil Nadu Shri A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 in a middle class Tamil Family. He father was not a formely educated m,an. But he could read and write English. His mother was a kind and generous lady. his parents insoired him to achieve his highest aim of life moreever, he was also influ enced by shri Lakshman shastri the head piest of Rameshwaram temple and shri shiv subramanya Aiyer his science teacher. 

After finishing his primary eduction he was sent to schwartz school for further studines. Ater finishing his school education he was sent to st Joseph college at Trichirapalli for hipher edduca tion. He passed his B.Sc From this college. Then he joined Aeronautical Engineering at Madras institrute of Techmology. in 1958 a. p. j. abdul kalam joined the directoratr of technical development and joined the directorate of techincl development and pro duction in ministery of defence he got fame and name with S. L. V.
