Spider lilies are most commonly seen in red, white, and pink shades, with red spider lilies being especially famous in East Asian cultures.

Symbolically, spider lilies represent separation, loss, remembrance, and the cycle of life and death. In Japan and China, red spider lilies are often associated with final goodbyes and are planted near graveyards. Despite this deep symbolism, the flower is admired for its beauty, resilience, and ability to bloom without leaves, making it feel almost mysterious.
