Deborah Cowley was born in lndia, grew up in Toronto, Canada, graduated in English form the University of Western Ontario and moved to Ottawa for a job with the Unitarian Service committee.She then spent two years with the United Nations Relief and works Agency (UNRWA) in Birut, Lebanon before moving back to Ottawa to join the Canadian Interational Development Agency (CIDA). She is the Author of Cairo:A Practical Guide,now in its 17th edition.She has been a member of writer's union of India since 2001.She had a life span of 43 years from (1806-1849).

CENTRAL IDEA . The poem revolves around a general problem that one, faces in life,It is of making a choice in life.According to the poet, by choosing a path that most people don't, a man can make a big difference in his life. In this poem, a man came to a place where he had to make choice between two roads. One of the roads was obviously less travelled on because it was grassy other road thaand was probably more difficult to travel on, and that is the road that this man chose.He thought that he could come back to check out the Road at another time, but figured that he probably would not, after he made his choice.The man found that he did make the best choice by choosing the road that had been less travelled by other people.The poet says that it is sometimes better not to make the easy choice that everyone else does, but to be willing to take a risk and be different by choosing the road 'Less travelled by '.
